Faro hosts no content

Faro is a media player. It does not provide, host, index, stream, or supply any playlists, channels, movies, series, or other media. Everything you see in the app comes from playlists and provider accounts that you add. Faro has no catalog of its own and no servers that store or relay media.

Because Faro hosts nothing, there is no material on our side to remove. If you believe content is infringing, the correct recipient of a takedown notice is the operator of the streaming service or the host of the playlist that supplies it — not Faro.

If you still wish to notify us

We take copyright seriously and will act on legitimate reports to the extent we are able (for example, by cooperating with valid legal process). To send a notice, email support@faroplayer.app with the subject “Copyright Complaint” and include:

Your name, address, and contact details.
Identification of the copyrighted work you claim is infringed.
Identification of the specific material and where it appears, with enough detail for us to understand the complaint (note that Faro cannot locate content within a user’s private playlist).
A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the rights holder, its agent, or the law.
A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are the rights holder or authorized to act on its behalf.
Your physical or electronic signature.

Your responsibilities as a user

By using Faro you confirm that you have the rights to access, play, and/or record the content in the playlists and sources you add, and that you will use the app only with legal content. Faro and its developer are not responsible for how the app is used with third-party content.

Our status

Faro is downloadable software, not an online service. It stores, hosts, transmits, caches, and indexes no user content on any system we operate, so it is not a hosting or intermediary service under the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act or the EU Digital Services Act, and there is no user content for us to disable or remove. We therefore maintain no DMCA designated agent, and nothing on this page should be read as an admission that we host or transmit material or as a waiver of any defence. We will nonetheless read and respond to notices sent to the address above.
