Terms and Conditions

Effective 22 July 2026 · Faro media player

These terms govern your use of the Faro apps for iPhone, iPad, and Apple TV. By using Faro you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

1. What Faro is

Faro is a media player for M3U and Xtream Codes (JSON) playlists that you create or already own. Faro provides no content. It does not supply, host, or promote any playlists, channels, streams, movies, or series. All content comes from the sources you add.

2. Your content and your responsibility

You are solely responsible for the playlists, provider accounts, and content you add to Faro. You confirm that you have the full legal right to access, play, and/or record that content. You agree not to use Faro to infringe any copyright or other right, or to violate any law. Faro and its developer are not responsible for any misuse of copyrighted or third-party content through the app.

3. Price

Faro is provided free of charge. There are no advertisements, no in-app purchases, and no subscriptions.

4. No warranty

Faro is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that any particular stream, playlist, or provider will work, since those are operated by third parties outside our control.

5. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the developer will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Faro or of any content you access through it. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded — in particular liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, for gross negligence or wilful misconduct, or under mandatory consumer-protection or product-liability law.

6. Your undertaking

You agree not to use Faro in any way that breaks the law or infringes someone else’s rights, and to hold the developer harmless from claims brought by third parties that arise out of the content you chose to add to the app. Because Faro supplies no content, any such claim concerns material you supplied. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

7. Third-party services

Faro connects directly to the servers you configure and to Apple services (such as iCloud). Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

8. Changes

We may update these terms; the effective date above will change and the current version will be posted at this address. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.

9. Governing law & jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of Spain. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the mandatory protections of the law of your country of residence: nothing here limits the statutory consumer rights you have where you live, and if you are resident in the European Union you may bring proceedings in the courts of your place of residence. Subject to those mandatory rights, the courts of Spain (at the developer’s domicile) have jurisdiction over any dispute.

10. Apple’s EULA

These terms are additional to, and do not replace, Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement, which also applies to apps obtained from the App Store.

11. Apple

This agreement is between you and the developer only, not with Apple, and the developer alone is responsible for Faro and its content. Apple has no obligation to provide any support or maintenance for Faro — support requests go to support@faroplayer.app. In the event Faro fails to conform to any warranty that cannot be disclaimed, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price, if any; to the maximum extent permitted by law Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to Faro. The developer, not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claim that Faro or your use of it infringes a third party’s intellectual property rights, and for any product-liability, legal-compliance, or consumer-protection claim relating to Faro. You confirm that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as a “terrorist supporting” country, and that you are not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and, on your acceptance, have the right to enforce them against you.

12. General

If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in force. These terms are the entire agreement between you and the developer about Faro, alongside Apple’s LEULA. You may stop using Faro at any time by deleting the app; the developer may stop distributing or updating Faro at any time, which does not affect the copy already installed on your device.
